Senior softball players, Addy Keylon and Cheyanne Sales spent Wednesday afternoon in the Little Theater in front of their friends, families and former coaches as they both signed National Letters of Intent to continue their academic and athletic careers after they graduate in May of this year. Keylon, the talented Centerfielder who batted .399 last season, will be attending Bryan College to play softball. She looks to add on to an impressive Junior campaign that saw her On Base Percentage reach .428 and connect on 126 hits (5 home runs) including 68 RBI’s, 102 runs and 29 stolen bases. Sales spent last season running the show from behind the plate for the Owls. She will be taking her gear south to Kennesaw State University. Sales batted .422 last season with an OBP of .464 rounded out last season with 10 home runs, 49 RBI’s and 35 runs scored. Hear what first year head coach Kerilyn Mongar says about two of the girls she expects to continue to step up and lead the Owls as they begin practice for the upcoming season.
