Tuesday afternoon, Rick Adolph and his soccer team sat in a classroom watching film. After having had to cancel another preseason scrimmage due to the excess of rain that continues to fall in the Chattanooga area. Hopefully, this one will be able to played as a make-up on Friday against Polk County. This is a regular occurance in the life of a spring sports coach. They have been able to take to their new soccer field once in a scrimmage against East Ridge High School. That plus a handful of practices is all that has been available for the program to get comfortable on the surface that was installed last year, just late enough for them to miss the men’s soccer season. The soccer program will have 8 seniors on the roster, who Coach Adolph expects to set the example for the underclassmen: Gomer Byron, Javar Foster, Cade Johnson, Victor Molinero, Nick Rahn, Tyler Reilly, Tyler Ryan and Alex Wright. The Owls will open their 2020 season with two road trips to Coffee County on 3/10 and Howard on 3/12. The home opener for Ooltewah will be on March 17th at 5:30 pm. Come out and support the Owls.
