Dunlevy’s Walk-Off Picture Perfect Ending In 2019 Ooltewah Owls Varsity’s Victory Over Chattanooga Christian
2019 Ooltewah Owls Varsity took their game in dramatic walk-off fashion, thanks to a walk-off single at the end of the game to topple Chattanooga Christian. The game was tied at nine with 2019 Ooltewah Owls Varsity batting in the bottom of the seventh when Trevor Dunlevy singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.
Despite falling down by four runs in the third inning, Chattanooga Christian tried to fight back. Chattanooga Christian put up seven runs in the failed comeback. John Rhodes, Colt Sinor, Rhodes, Evan Walker, Chase McBryar, and Sinor all picked up RBIs in the rally.
2019 Ooltewah Owls Varsity got on the board in the second inning. Kael Williams drove in two when he doubled.
Chattanooga Christian scored four runs in the fifth inning. Rhodes and Walker all drove in runs in the frame.
Wes Duncan was the winning pitcher for 2019 Ooltewah Owls Varsity. He surrendered zero runs on zero hits over two-thirds of an inning, walking one. Trevor Robinson threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen.
Sinor took the loss for Chattanooga Christian. He allowed three hits and four runs over one-third of an inning.
