2021 Spring Sports Physical Information

A new physical is needed for each athlete for 2021-22 school year, and it must occur after April 15, 2021. Fall athletes will need new physicals, and all DragonFly paperwork completed when sports start back following the dead period. Winter Sports back in action

Per Hamilton County Department of Education, winter sports can resume today, January 6th, with a three day acclimation period before being able to compete on January 11th. Athletics Postponed thru Jan. 3rd

Per Hamilton County Department of Education… Due to the recent decision to go into Phase 1, all athletic teams and facilities will be shut down from Monday, December 14, 2020 – January 3, 2021. This means that no athletic teams or outside organizations will be able to use any on campus facilities at this time.

Wrestling Owls host Signal and East Hamilton

For the first time in 20+ years, the first weekend in December will not play host to the Ooltewah Invitational. Due to Hamilton County mandates surrounding the Covid19 virus, no tournaments are allowed to be hosted in Hamilton County. The Ooltewah Wrestling program will send 12 wrestlers to the region tournament this year. The 2020 Region 4 tournament will be at Rhea County High School on Saturday, Feb. 15th. Wrestling travels to East Hamilton for Final Dual

Ooltewah wrestlers travel to East Hamilton to finish out the regular season. With a dual win Ooltewah will finish tied for 5th in the region loaded with the state’s last 23 state titles (Cleveland, Bradley Central, Soddy Daisy).

Wrestling Owls medal two at Central Invitational

  The Owls had a strong showing at the Central Invitational on Saturday, January 4th. After the first round of the tournament, the Owls were tied for first place with Chattanooga Christian School.
